I am a Mississippi Gulf Coast Ladner, being a descendant of Christian Ladner (Christian Ladner was born May 5th, 1690 in the village of Seewis Im Prattigau, Switzerland.  He landed on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 1719. My great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather was Christian Ladner (born 5-5-1690, died after 1745). He had three sons: Jean Baptiste Sr., Mathurin, and Nicholas. My great-great-great-great-great-grandfather was Jean Baptiste Ladner Sr. (born before 1724). He had seven daughters and one son: Jean Baptiste Jr. My great-great-great-great-grandfather was Jean Baptiste Ladner, Jr (born 4-16-1767). He had four daughters and seven sons: Carlos, Gilbert, Basiel, Julien, Jean Baptiste III, Silvain, and Ursin. My great-great-great-grandfather was Carlos Ladner (born 1-23-1796, died 10-27-1843). He had three daughters and eleven sons: Carlos Jr., Nathaniel, Samuel, Jeremiah, Elisha, Elijah, Rutillus, Plummer, Jonathan, Alexander, and Asenith. My great-great-grandfather was Nathaniel Ladner (born 5-4-1828, died 2-26-1865). He had one daughter and two sons: Albert and Leonard Lenoir. My great-grandfather was Lenard Lenior Ladner (born 7-28-1857, died 5-3-1940). He had six daughters and three sons: Homer, Albert, and Hiram Griffin. My grandfather was Hiram Griffin Ladner, Sr (born 6-18-1888, died 1-3-1959). He had four children: Hiram Griffin Jr., Robert Shelby, Virginia, and Catherine. My father is Hiram Griffin Ladner, Jr (born 1-17-1918). He was born in Gulfport, Mississippi and was married to Elizabeth Clemmer. I am Hiram Griffin Ladner, III.  I have more information.
